Was driving without MOT pulled by police and told would receive fine - got MOT the following day... However that was three weeks ago no fine what should I do?

My bad. Points would only apply to a vehicle deemed ‘dangerous’ by an MOT test

Or indeed deemed so by a police officer (and possibly court), regardless of any MOT (or lack of). And can mean disqualification.

Having no MOT can, in some cases, make the car 'unroadworthy' in the eyes of an insurer. |I had an agreement with my insurer where I paid an additional amount so that I could drive cars for an MOT when it had expired. Worked out about 5% of my original premium. (I used to do a lot of private work.)
