Weather warnings for snow and ice have come into force for parts of England and Scotland as forecasters predicted freezing temperatures this weekend.
The yellow warnings cover northern and southern Scotland and the east of England, down to London and Kent.
Temperatures could fall as low as -10C in north-east Scotland and -4 to -8C across much of the UK overnight

Pretty chilly where I am still, but no issues (yet) driving due to the temperature.

Just checked Met Office for my area in NW London, and it tells me we have a balmy 13/14 degrees for Sat and Sun. (6 and 8 minimum nights.)
However, I did read yesterday that some Continental forecasters are on strike over the AI system some are using. Forecasting heatwaves of 28 degrees in some Continental cities.
