Account Registration

    I am having problems registering for My RAC on an Apple device, is this a known problem? Even the contact form on RAC doesn’t work. This is the message I tried to send
    ”I recently accepted a two year breakdown quote for my one year old Kia Niro and paid the fee. Today 30-10-23 I received the membership card. The date for the new policy to kick in is 17-11-23. I have tried to register an account for ‘My RAC’ but the system keeps telling me that some of the details are not correct with what you have on record and will not allow me to complete registration. Nor can I use the app getting the same message. The details I have used are as above plus the number digits of my policy as the membership number”
    Can anyone help?

    Sorry to hear that. But nope, def not a general issue or known problem.


    I have tried to register an account for ‘My RAC’ but the system keeps telling me that some of the details are not correct with what you have on record and will not allow me to complete registration.
    Nor can I use the app getting the same message. The details I have used are as above plus the number digits of my policy as the membership number
    The first thing is to try old IT tricks of deleting and reinstalling the app. And also making sure your phone's operating system is up to date.
    If still no joy, I think the only thing to do is to contact customer services. Here's a link to the RAC website page with all the contact details.
