So, a bit confusing - bear with!!
•we have 2 cars. An ecosport(mine) and a focus (his)
•Both have private plates.
•My husband sells my car-ecosport (retains my number plate)
•He then buys a BMW.
•He gives me his Focus and puts my retained plate on it.
•He can’t remember if he applied to retain his private plate and now wants to put it on his BM.
Has it disappeared into a black hole? Is there a time frame to actually try and retain it?
I thought it would still be assigned to the focus if I was to take my private plate back off? Or does it go back to the original manufactured plate?
all searches on this plate aren’t coming back with anything - has it gone? :(
I’ve tried filling in a V317 online and I’m hitting errors with the website. (I have the paper version so will try and send it off and hope for a miracle!!)
Anyone out there have any idea please?
