Just sharing a picture and some info r.e. my “new”, which I have had a month now, car.

I have just finished the 1200 run-in miles so now can really open it up and it is a joy to drive. Very responsive, quick enough, brilliant handling and the adaptive suspension is great - no need to compromise between ride comfort and handling, you get the best of both worlds.

There is really nothing wrong with it, except for the obvious limitations that come with a small 2-door car.

According to the computer I am getting 35mpg during mostly country road driving - more of use of lower gears & braking than if the miles were motorway ones - I am happy with this, though this is using premium fuel.

Santa, it's recommended, for the enhanced potency rather than for the additives and cleaning products. I intend to try normal fuel at some point but I have been having too much fun to want to risk it!

It's very much like a go-kart but when you don't fancy driving enthusiastically it's surprisingly comfortable and smooth!

Just to add r.e. the premium fuel

I am always up for saving some money, but don't want to sacrifice how well the car runs so decided to look in the handbook

It says the minimum fuel recommended is 95RON and the recommended fuel that the engine is tuned to run on is 98RON

For my old car (regular Mini Cooper S) the numbers were 91RON and 95RON respectively

I guess that means it will run on regular fuel but not perfectly?

As said I am always looking to save money but not at the cost of the performance of my vehicle

Did you go with standard seats? My other half had sport seats in her Mini, and I was not a fan. Felt like I was being cradled inwards all the time!

@Marc I went with the standard seats which I think are called "sports seats", but I don't know whether they are actual sports seats. They are exactly the same shape as the leather "Lounge" seats in my previous Mini, they are just made of Alcantara!
