Seen any interesting cars when out and about?

Thought this would be a good place to share pics of unusual, rare, silly, strange, stunning vehicles we come across.

Starting off with this white Rolls Royce (Silver Cloud model?) I spotted in London over the weekend.



I like the fact that it looks like it's just a normal bloke driving it. Not being used for a wedding or anything. Just popping to the shops!

Nice thread idea, sorry, no pics but I enjoy spotting cars while out and about. Recent sightings...

Toyota GR86 (only 500 sold in the UK) in Bedford.

Some kind of Renault hot hatch, don't know my French hot hatches, but it was a writer for PistonHeads as I recognised the plate from some of his articles.

Lamborghini Aventador yesterday!!

Question maybe suitable for its own thread but I'll ask here...are "nice" cars a more common sighting these days? My Dad tells me as a boy it was a few times a year he'd see a Ferrari, Lambo, Aston etc. Now I see rather nice cars every day, perhaps not "supercars" as such, though I'd still say I see a few of those a week nowadays as well.

I am spoilt for seeing nice cars. On the A1(M) around Knebworth, and sometimes heading past Shuttleworth, as well as visiting local fetes and the like, I have seen literally hundreds. Used to see them on our local roads heading to the Hillingdon Show, although I don't venture that way so much now. Also see them from various Owners Clubs occasionally whilst heading to Sussex where we used to watch the London-Brighton Vintage Run.

@Rolebama I live quite near Shuttleworth - I often come off the A1 at Biggleswade and drive right past it as I take the lanes between the A1 and Bedford instead of heading to the Black Cat Roundabout. It is indeed a great place for car spotting. I once found myself driving that way on the day of sort of Hot Rod/American car show, presumably at kicking-out time, as I had to give way to dozens of huge cars which took up most of the road. They are narrow roads, by no means single track, but with the Yank Tanks approaching it was very much a single track!! That was a real treat as I am partial to a Mustang or Ford Pickup.

I like green Mini Coopers, but this shade is a little too bright for my taste. Racing green is nicer IMHO

That's odd Marc, didn't know they did another sort of green. Maybe the black trim makes it look odd? I went with BRG for my Cooper S and think it looks good with chrome trim. I didn't think it looked right with black trim on the JCW so went with Rebel green (very dark green, almost black).

Saw a brilliantly restored GT6 on the A1(M) near Welwyn yesterday morning. Finished in a metallic mid-blue. Colour really suited it.

Wasn't see out and about but I was at Bruntingthrope car collection and see the famous 1B Bugatti. What a beast! Must be driven on the roads sometimes, it still has a MOT and TAX lol!


Was some other beauty's there too.

R.e. the Bugatti - I read that the tyres last 2,500 miles and cost £10k, and the wheels need replacing after every 4th tyre change at £60k - I figured if you wanted to drive on your favourite road it would literally be cheaper to pay to have the car transported to said road, than go up the motorway 😳

I’ve seen about half a dozen Toyota GR86 (not the older GT86) in the last few months. I thought they were meant to be quite limited cars - I actually might have liked one but they sold out within 45 mins. £29,995 for a 2.4L naturally aspirated 240bhp car with a 10 year warranty seemed too good to be true

10am today, saw an original E-type on Ruislip High Street in British Racing Green. A dab of throttle and a great growl. Then at 11pm on Breakspear Road saw two unidentified cars of the same type. (Something is telling me Bugattis, but am not sure.) Small single seaters reminiscent of 1930s racing cars.
