How do I post a photo?

Are you on desktop or mobile @DDickie?
If desktop select the image icon from the toolbar / or choose the paperclip icon so it's an attachment.
The attachment option seems to work best for me.
I also resize the photo so it's not too bigWelcome to the RAC Community! Start here š

Iām using a mobile as my Mac G4 computer is obsolete and not compliant with the latest Internet security protocols.
There is no toolbar on the forum.rac.co.uk mobile website. -

On mobile, tap on +Additional Options under the post box where the text is, and you will see ability to use attachments. Tap on 'manage attachments', and from there you can browse for a pic
I know that's not ideal! The tech team are working to improve the whole pic uploading experience! -

Having discovered that I have to click on Reply first before the Additional Options link appeared, I got as far as choosing a photo - but when I clicked on Upload I got the following error message:Sorry, we are currently experiencing problems with our website.

Community Manager10-03-23 16:34Thanks @DDickie that's v useful. (Incredibly frustrating too, I know, and I apologise for the hassle) but I think what you've flagged there will help the tech team fix this as part of their overall photo improvements. I've reported this and will keep you updated. š

Community Manager26-04-23 14:08Our tech team have made some changes and it looks like the photos bug issue could be fixed.
Could people try uploading a pic or attachment here? Or adding an avatar pic?
You may need to log out and log back in, first š
