Questions from America

I have noticed a number of questions from across the Atlantic. While I have no beef with our ex-colonials, I think it might be useful if it was made clear that this is a UK forum as we will have little to offer them by way of advice.

Hi @Santa
Yep, you're right that we do get a few US-based questions. I think the best approach here is that if it's a general driving question then it's OK, but if it's about a specific US-only product or service (such as, for example, a US-based insurance company) then it's not relevant.
When this happens I'll remove the post, and send the community member a message to explain why.
If you see a post that's too US-specific you can 'flag it' by using the 'report it' option in the three little dots to the right of every post.
Hope that makes sense! Does this approach work OK for you?Welcome to the RAC Community! Start here 😀
You can say hi and introduce yourself too 👋
What should you do after a collision? 🤔
