Hello everyone,

Great to have you with us. I’m Marc, your community forum manager.

I'm a fan of cats, coffee, trying to eat and live healthily, gadgets and tech stuff, and of course communities!

Other things…. I used to be really into photography, but I recently ditched all the kit and now just use a phone camera…. I once walked the width of England in two weeks under the pouring rain….

That’s enough from me, except to share a quick pic of me and my three cats - Jezebel, Wookiee, and Peabody.

I’m a Morris Dance musician (and former dancer) and Church Organist.

My other hobbies are Target Shooting and Real Ale (I’m a member of CAMRA).

I’ve been driving since 1974 and currently own a Honda C90 motorcycle and a Bürstner motorhome.

Welcome Richard! What a lovely first post 😃 The motorhome sounds very cool! Helpful as a place to stay after a real ale I guess?!

I purchased the motorhome so I could go to folk festivals and take my dog.

BTW, I tried to create an avatar but all my photos are too big!

If you can resize a photo it should work OK.
I tend to resize photos for posts to 500px and I think the avatar pics are even a bit smaller than that.

Update: 80 by 80 pixels for avatars 👍

I don’t know how to resize photos on my iPhone.

DDickie, I believe there is no way to resize an entire image on iPhone without an app, sadly.

It's easy on my Mac...if you post up the image I could resize it to 80x80 for you then post it back for you to save to your phone.

PS I love a good Real Ale as well. There is a website I like to use that sells beers that are hard to find in the shops. I won't name it in case that is not allowed but they claim to sell the Best of British Beer. 😉 I just took delivery of 15 bitters and never heard of any of them which is great.

@Marc Hi Marc, i am new to the forum, I have two cats of my own as well. They're named Meeka and Milla and they're my constant companions at home. They bring me relaxation after a long day on the road. I hope your cats bring you the same level of comfort and companionship as mine do for me!

Meeka and Milla are lovely names. Yes my cats do provide great company for sure. In that basically I'm their servant... 🤣

@Marc Leaving my pets behind when I'm out on the road can be tough, but I make sure they're well-cared for by family members, it doesn't stop them Meowing their head off when I return mind you.

Oh OK I admit it they're good companions.

Re meows @harsharea I don't know if yours are the same, but our cats' volume has def increased as they've got older. These days it's deafening at breakfast 🙀
