Accident - driver in fronts foot slipped
    03-06-21 , 08:10

I hit a vehicle that had accelerated off from
stationary when roundabout traffic lights went red to green but her foot slipped and so her car stopped without brake lights and I hit her from the rear.
it wasn’t a big hit but enough for damage to both bumpers.
she apologised and said her foot slipped off the accelerator
I have two witnesses that heard her say this.
I know I hit her but I wasn’t going fast nor distracted, it was normal traffic lights at a busy roundabout, I don’t feel that I was too close, she stopped suddenly to a halt no brake lights and I hit her and she admitted her foot slipped off accelerator. She was wearing huge fat boots.

    what next? Fault?

Sorry, to be so brutal but there isn't a nice way of putting it.
It doesn't matter if her foot slipped, you were basically not paying attention, and/or driving too close to the car in front.

There are several reasons why the car in front may stop, from obstacles in the road to mechanical failure, therefore you you should space yourself with that in mind.

A good article, an attractive story requires the author to have a good sense and a keen eye to have a deep insight into it. mapquest driving directions
