Okay, late last night someone reversed into my parked car. They informed me this morning and gave me their details, we had a chat it was an accident no harsh feelings. The drivers side passenger door has a largeish dent in it but nothing else.
now I’m not sure what to do as this is a new car, 16 plate, after my previous one was wrote of 2 months ago (insurance deemed it not my fault) so I’m not sure whether to involve them or not as I’ve literally just finished the previous claim. I’ve spoken to the other party and they’re clueless as to what to do so I’ve suggested if it can be fixed without involving the insurances then I’m happy.
Is this the right move? I don’t want my no claims to be affected as I’ve managed to save it from the previous accident.
