I am thinking about a new car and wondering about a hybrid.

But I have hated the lack of a spare wheel with my present car so wondering which hybrids have a proper spare wheel.

Any ideas?

Hybrid with a charging socket may just about make sense, for low mileage use, otherwise they are not very good at reducing CO2.

Not too bothered about that.

A hybrid should be more efficient that direct petrol / diesel. No interest in a battery only car, too much of a liability on a long journey.

My present car has no spare wheel so bought a space-saver, I would like to find a car with a real spare wheel when I change it.

Green vehicles such as hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery-electric vehicles often lack spares.You won't find a spare tire in a Tesla, yet if you check out a Facebook club dedicated to Tesla vehicles you will find that owners are speaking about flat tires.

My next car purchase in a 3-5 years will most likely be an EV. I have a Rav4 right now that has a full spare tire. I like to go on forests roads and other trails a little worse than your standard dirt road. I feel comfortable doing this in the Rav4, especially with the full size spare. I've noticed most EVs (and many new ICE vehicles);do not come with a spare, event a donut spare.
Spare tire info is often hard to find. Any EVs out there with spare tires (full size or mini)? I know of the Rivian but that's it.

I believe that just about every car on the market is sold in other countries who drive on the left, and are legally required to carry a spare wheel. Talk to a dealer, but expect a delay on delivery.

@JMB999My current car (not a Hybrid) came with a space saver, but had a full sized well. The first time I bought tyres, I bought a new wheel (i,e, just the rim) from the main dealer, then asked the tyre fitter to fit one of the new tyres on the new rim, and kept one of the old ones as the spare. Problem solved.

My BMW came with run-flats, which gave too harsh a ride. I bought five wheels and tyres, and the spare has reduced the luggage space to about half of what it was. A pain, but I'd rather not have such a harsh ride.

Which makes them no different from petrol and diesel cars..

A specific case was set out by Snowball on this Forum some years ago. He changed from one VW SUV to another and obtained one with a spare at the loss of two of the seats. (I can't remember now but he went from a Teagun to a Tijuan or vice-versa.(Not 100% of spelling of models.))
