Advice for stop/start driving

Hi. I need some advice about how to maintain my car with my stop/start driving habits please.
I am a carer so I do alot of short distant driving from door to door and, some of the time, the car doesn't get a chance to warm up.

I mostly drive on 30-40mph roads and I been told that this driving habit doesn't "burn/breakdown gunk/build up"

Should it be advised that I take my car on the motorway once a week to burn any build up and would I need to change my oil more than the recommended intervals?

(My car is a Ford KA 1.2 Zetec 10plate. Currently has 19k on the clock)

Due to the low mileage, I'd say keep to the normal time dependant service (12 months) with perhaps just an oil, not filter, change in between at around at 6 months. That's what I do on our Evoque even though I have a free service plan. Make sure you use a good quality oil of the correct specification. No need for a weekly motorway trip.
